Question 1

Is Eventrk Go really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Events with up to 50 attendees are completely free — no subscription and no card required. Larger events use a one-time activation fee based on capacity.

Question 2

What do I need before creating my first event?

Accepted Answer

Your event name, date, venue and a banner image, plus the payment details you want participants to pay into if the event is paid. Everything else can be added later.

Question 3

How long does it take to publish an event?

Accepted Answer

Most organizers publish in under 15 minutes. You can build and preview the page for free, then activate and publish when you're happy with it.

Question 4

Can I run multiple events?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Run as many events as you like from one account, each with its own page, registrations and check-in.

Question 5

Can I preview my event before it goes live?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every event has a free preview of the exact public page, so you can review it before activation and publishing.

Question 6

Can I edit an event after publishing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Details, schedule, FAQs and page content stay editable, and you can send an update to everyone already registered.

Question 7

What if my event grows bigger?

Accepted Answer

Increase the capacity tier at any time and pay only the difference, or move up to the full Eventrk platform when you need multi-team workflows and advanced ticketing.

Question 8

How do I receive payments?

Accepted Answer

Participants pay you directly using your own DuitNow QR, bank transfer or UPI details. Eventrk Go never holds your money and takes no cut of it.

Question 9

Can I collect payment proof?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Participants upload a receipt after paying, and you approve or reject each registration from your dashboard before passes are issued.

Question 10

Does Eventrk Go charge commission on tickets?

Accepted Answer

No. There is no commission and no monthly subscription — only the one-time activation fee for events above the free capacity.

Question 11

How do refunds work?

Accepted Answer

Because participants pay you directly, you issue refunds yourself. You can cancel a registration in the dashboard and message the participant from there.

Question 12

Do participants need an app or account?

Accepted Answer

No. Participants register on a web page and receive a QR pass by link. Nothing to download.

Question 13

Can one person register several attendees?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A single booking can include multiple tickets and attendee details, and each attendee receives their own pass.

Question 14

What happens when my event sells out?

Accepted Answer

Registration closes automatically at capacity and interested visitors can leave their details as waitlist leads.

Question 15

Can I add walk-in registrations at the venue?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Add walk-ins from the check-in screen and they are counted like any other attendee.

Question 16

How does check-in work?

Accepted Answer

Open the check-in page on any phone, scan the attendee's QR pass, and they are marked in instantly. You can also search by name and check in manually.

Question 17

Do I need a scanner or extra hardware?

Accepted Answer

No. Any phone camera works — the check-in page uses the browser, so several team members can check people in at once.

Question 18

What if an attendee lost their pass?

Accepted Answer

Search for them by name or email on the check-in screen and check them in manually, or resend their pass from the dashboard.

Question 19

Can the same pass be used twice?

Accepted Answer

No. A scanned pass is flagged as already used, so duplicate entry is caught at the door.

Question 20

Can I message attendees?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Send confirmations, updates and reminders over WhatsApp and email straight from the event dashboard.

Question 21

When is the confirmation email sent?

Accepted Answer

Once you approve the registration. The email includes the QR pass and a payment receipt.

Question 22

Can I invite people who attended before?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your past attendees stay in one audience list you can invite to future events.

Question 23

How is capacity counted?

Accepted Answer

Capacity is the total number of approved attendees your event can accept, across all ticket types. Pending and rejected registrations don't count.

Question 24

Do I pay per event or per month?

Accepted Answer

Per event, once. There is no monthly subscription — an activated event stays activated.

Question 25

Is the activation fee refundable?

Accepted Answer

The activation fee is non-refundable once the event is published. If a charge went wrong, contact us and we'll look into it.

Question 26

Where is my pass?

Accepted Answer

Your pass arrives by email once the organizer confirms your payment, and it's also available from the booking link you received when registering.

Question 27

Who do I contact about an event?

Accepted Answer

The organizer. Every event page shows the organizer's contact options, including email and WhatsApp where provided.

Question 28

Is my payment made to Eventrk Go?

Accepted Answer

No. You pay the organizer directly using the payment details shown on the event page, and upload your receipt as proof.
